Mandatory Internship System Integration & Deployment (m/f/d) - Docker, Linux & Cloud Environments

We are an innovative startup from Berlin-Adlershof that works with 3D technologies, AI and cloud systems.

To expand our infrastructure, we are looking for dedicated interns in the area of system integration & deployment who are curious about how complex web systems are configured, containerized and reliably brought online.

Here you will learn how modern software goes from the development project to a live running application – with real challenges and room for your own ideas.

Tasks

🔧 Containerization of existing applications – Build and maintain Dockerfiles and Docker Compose setups.

☁️ Deployment in cloud environments – Setup, configuration and testing of productive systems.

📦 System integration – Linking backend services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Django & Nginx.

⚙️ Automation of processes – Creating scripts and tools to simplify deployments and updates.

🔐 Understand and help shape security and backup concepts.

📊 Monitoring & error analysis – Log evaluation, performance measurement and optimization of system stability.

🤝 Collaboration with developers – Integration of new software versions into existing environments.

Qualification

🎓 Enrolled student in a relevant course of study, e.g.:

• Computer Science, Business Informatics, Systems Engineering, IT Security, Media Technology or Electrical Engineering with IT focus
• or a related subject with an interest in system integration and DevOps technologies

✅ Basic knowledge of Linux & Docker.

✅ Understanding of networks, databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and server configurations.

✅ Interest in automated deployments and cloud architectures.

✅ Initiative, eagerness to learn and structured way of working.

✅ Good German or English skills.

💬 Bonus points if you already have experience with:

• Docker Compose or Portainer,
• Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus),
• or CI/CD automation (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
