Introduction

We are Solarfarm RE GmbH from Mainz. Since 2023, we have been developing photovoltaic open-space plants and large-scale battery storage systems nationwide, from the initial land idea to construction readiness. Our team has now grown to around 15 people, we work with well-known partners, and in a short time, we have built up a project pipeline in the gigawatt range.

What we have been missing so far is an external presence that shows what is happening here every day. This is exactly where you come in: You will help build our social media presence and our blog, you will lead your topics, and you will directly see the impact of your ideas. With us, there are no long chains of command; you sit at the table with the people developing the projects and get your stories directly from them.

Responsibilities

You will build our marketing presence together with us, hands-on. Specifically, you can expect:

• Expansion of our social media presence (especially LinkedIn and Instagram): You will come up with topics and formats, plan posts, film and photograph yourself, and edit short videos. Our colleagues will be in front of the camera; you will lead behind the camera and in the execution.

• Expansion of our website with blog articles, for example, on new projects, milestones, partnerships, and background topics related to solar parks and battery storage.

• Contribution of your own ideas: New formats, channels, and campaigns are explicitly welcome and will be implemented if successful.

• Design of advertising materials such as presentations, flyers, project exposés, and documents for landowners, municipalities, and investors.

• Support for our marketing and sales in daily business, for example, in owner outreach and trade fair appearances.

• Organization and dispatch of letters and mailings to landowners and partners.

• Getting to know the entire team and our organization: You will gain insight into project development, land acquisition, grid connection, and sales, and understand how a project is created from land to sale.

Qualifications

• You are enrolled in a degree program in Communication Studies, Media Studies, Marketing, Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Media Design, or a comparable field, and are undertaking a mandatory internship according to your study regulations.

• You have a good feel for social media, visual language, and storytelling, and you know what works on LinkedIn and Instagram.

• Initial experience with filming and editing videos (e.g., with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or comparable tools) as well as with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

• You enjoy writing and are confident in writing, including longer texts for the blog and website.

• Creativity, initiative, and a desire to simply try things out.

• Interest in renewable energies and the energy transition.

• Very good German language skills.

• Availability in Mainz for at least two months.
