AI-Engineering Intern (m/w/d) - Smart Energy Startup

Aufgaben

• 🖥 Data Management and Processing: You will support the further development of a knowledge management system based on AI by expanding and maintaining a data pipeline.
• 👓Evaluation: By setting up an automated evaluation framework and selecting suitable metrics, you will ensure the functioning of our AI solutions.
• 🧑‍🔬Research and Development: You will research new approaches in AI engineering and test their applicability for GreenPocket.
• 🤲 Collaboration: Together with our cross-functional teams, you will help integrate AI solutions into our products and processes.
• 📖 Continuous Learning: Develop your professional profile by building knowledge and experience in the fields of software development, data science, and AI engineering.

Qualifikation

• You must complete a 6-month internship as part of your studies in engineering, computer science, or a comparable field.
• You have solid Python skills and experience in the field of NLP, both with traditional methods and LLMs and (dense) embeddings.
• You have first-hand experience in AI engineering, e.g. context engineering, RAG (vector-, KG-based), agentic AI, and AI evaluation methods.
• You want to learn from our KI expert and support him in developing our KI chatbots.
• Ideal candidates are familiar with relational, vector- or graph databases and have first-hand experience in post-training of transformer-based models.
• You break down complex problems analytically and structurally and find suitable solutions that you can document clearly and understandably.
• You possess very good German and English skills.
