Job description
About the Bovensiepen Group
What Burkard Bovensiepen founded in Kaufbeuren in 1965 is today an internationally recognized family company with its own signature: The Bovensiepen Group – managed by his sons Andreas and Florian Bovensiepen – stands for automotive aspiration, artisanal excellence, and the conviction that every detail counts. “Born and made in Buchloe” is not a slogan, but a promise: What is created here is created with dedication, precision, and an unconditional will for quality.
With the transfer of the ALPINA brand rights to BMW on December 31, 2025, we are in the midst of one of the most exciting phases of our company's history: six specialized divisions, an independent brand, around 200 employees. The organizational foundations have been laid and the transformation is complete. Now the real task begins: bringing a new organization to life, anchoring a changed leadership culture, and attracting and developing the right people for the next phase.
To achieve this, we are looking for an HR administrator who combines careful work with proactive thinking. The position is permanent and can be filled full-time or part-time from 30 hours – also for re-entry after a career break. There is a dedicated contact person and structured onboarding so that you can independently take on tasks and projects promptly – if you wish.
Tasks
Your Role – Three Pillars of Operational HR Work
You will work in and with three pillars of operational HR work: in time management (maintenance and administration of the system, absences, interface checks for externally provided payroll), in recruiting (posting job ads, applicant management, coordinating telephone screenings, candidate communication), and in operational HR work from contracts to references to onboarding. You will report to Janet Weiss (Head of HR), coordinate closely with her, and have scope for design in consultation – decisions and responsibility lie with the Head of HR.
For clarity, so that expectations are aligned from the start: This is an administrative position with a clear framework. What is decided is decided by the Head of HR; what you take on is agreed upon. You will be trained before you are solely responsible – you will gradually take over time management and payroll interface, not on the first day. Clean, reliable HR administration is not background noise for us, but the foundation on which everything else rests.
One more thing about presence: 200 employees need an HR team that is there when they are needed – which is why you will work on-site in Buchloe, especially in the initial period. After onboarding, home office will be possible in perspective after consultation. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday lunchtime; how your hours are distributed within this will be decided together.
Your Tasks
- Maintenance and administration of time management in daily operations
- Interface checks for externally provided payroll: You will provide the data on time and check the results before they are sent out
- Recruiting in daily operations: Posting job ads, managing applicant data, coordinating telephone screenings
- Candidate communication with speed and reliability – every application will receive a quick, personal response
- Operational HR work from A to Z: employment contracts, references, certificate issuance, personnel files
- Organization of onboarding for new colleagues – from contract dispatch to the first day of work
- Representing team colleagues within the HR team and contributing to the further development of HR processes.
Administration means for us: You think along and make suggestions – how far you shape things is decided together with the Head of HR. Those who prefer to become secure first and then shape things will be given the time to do so here.
Qualifications
Your Profile – Precise, Fast, Reliable
You enjoy working precisely, quickly, and reliably – and want to think along rather than just process. You value clear coordination with your supervisor and take on tasks independently once the framework is established – asking questions is expressly encouraged here, not a sign of insecurity. And you step in when colleagues are absent – covering for them is a matter of course for you.
What you bring:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training as a qualified HR specialist (m/f/d) or equivalent
- At least two years of professional experience in operational HR work, preferably from the medium-sized sector – it doesn't have to be current, refreshing is part of the onboarding
- Practical experience in time management or in preparing payroll – both together is welcome, but not a prerequisite
- Experience in daily recruiting operations: job postings, applicant management, candidate contact
- Absolute discretion and diligence in handling personal data, as well as solid foundations in labor and social security law
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office, especially Excel.
The spectrum is broad: Time management, recruiting, and HR administration are handled by one person here, not in three departments. Some routines are established, some are still being developed – we will openly tell you in the interview which is which.
Benefits
What we offer
Family-owned for over 60 years: Flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes, no corporate logic. Your ideas land directly where decisions are made.
- Broad field of work from day one: Time management, recruiting, and operational HR work – you see the whole spectrum instead of a narrow slice
- Real weekend from Friday lunchtime: Working hours Monday to Friday lunchtime – Friday afternoon is yours
- Part-time from 30 hours and re-entry: Full-time or part-time from 30 hours per week, flexibly distributed. And after parental leave, care leave, or any other break: A gap in your CV is not a reason for rejection for us, but at most a topic for discussion
- Remuneration and security: permanent contract, reliable fixed salary, company pension scheme, capital-forming benefits, JobRad (company bike leasing), and free parking directly at the site
- Perspective without pressure: The position can be held for years exactly as it is. If you want more, the path leads towards HR generalist or specialist roles
- Commuting without moving: From Kaufbeuren, Landsberg, Marktoberdorf, and Mindelheim, you can be here in 20 to 30 minutes, from Augsburg, Memmingen, and western Munich in just over 40. Buchloe train station is a five-minute walk away.
Ready?
If you thought while reading: this is exactly the mix I'm looking for – then apply. A CV is sufficient. A cover letter is welcome, but not mandatory. Just tell us when you can start and what capacity. If you want to know what daily work here is really like beforehand: You can reach Janet Weiss (Head of HR) at +49 8241 5005-439 – confidentially and without it having to become an application.
