HR Business Partner

As an HR Business Partner (m/f/d), you will be the central point of contact for our employees and managers on all HR-related matters. You will support important HR processes throughout the entire employment cycle – from onboarding and personnel administration to labor law issues and preparation for payroll.

In this responsible position, you will combine meticulous administrative HR work with service-oriented consulting and contribute to ensuring that our HR processes run reliably, legally compliant, and professionally. Join our HR team as soon as possible with at least 30 hours part-time or full-time at our location in Hamburg.

Responsibilities

• You will be the point of contact for employees and managers on all HR-related issues and will review labor law matters.
• You will create contracts, contract amendments, employment references, certificates, and general HR-related correspondence.
• You will manage onboarding and offboarding, maintain personnel files and HR tools, and process vacation and sick leave, rehabilitation measures, special leave, and educational leave.
• You will coordinate benefits, key and parking garage management, as well as occupational health and safety measures such as vaccination appointments, G37 examinations, fire protection, and risk assessments.
• You will create statistics and reports, prepare payroll, conduct annual evaluations, and determine provisions, for example for the compensation levy, the artists' social security fund, and vacation provisions.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree with several years of professional experience in the HR field
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, ideally good English language skills
• In-depth knowledge of personnel administration and a good understanding of labor law issues
• Experience in preparing payroll and in contract, certificate, and reference management
• Meticulous, structured, and responsible working method in handling confidential personnel data; confident use of HR tools, ideally knowledge of Datev / HR Works
