HR-Generalist:in (m/w/d)

Full Time Mid Level

Job description

LADE EXPRESS is one of the leading providers of charging infrastructure in Germany. We plan, install, and maintain charging stations – from single wallboxes to large charging parks. Our team has grown to over 50 employees in recent years, and we are now looking for the first time for someone who will focus entirely on our people-related topics. You will build the HR department from scratch with us and actively shape how we are perceived as an employer.

Tasks

  • Recruiting from A to Z: You write job postings, manage active sourcing on platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed, conduct pre-interviews, and coordinate the entire application process – currently with a focus on electrician and service technician staff.
  • Personnel administration: You handle employment contracts, contract changes, certificates, and attestations – keeping the paperwork organized and structured.
  • Preliminary payroll accounting: You record hours and transmit them to our external payroll office.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: You develop a structured process to ensure new colleagues settle in well from their first day – and departures run professionally.
  • Employee development: You coordinate training, further education, and mandatory training (e.g., IPAF, DGUV) and keep track of deadlines.
  • Labor law basics: You prepare warnings, terminations, and other labor law measures – in consultation with management and, if necessary, with external lawyers.
  • HR processes: As the first dedicated HR staff member, you establish processes, templates, and structures that grow with us.

Qualification

  • Completed commercial training or degree with a focus on personnel, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role – ideally in the mid-sized company, trade, or technical environment.
  • Experience in recruiting for vocational-technical staff (electricians, service technicians, etc.) is a major plus.
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law.
  • Hands-on mentality: You take action rather than waiting for perfect processes.
  • Communication strength and empathy – you are the point of contact for office and production teams alike.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with HR software or ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is an advantage.

Benefits

  • Autonomy: You build the HR department from scratch – with direct access to management and short decision-making paths.
  • Company pension scheme
  • Hybrid work: Combination of office days in Essen and home office.
  • Futures market: Electric mobility and charging infrastructure – a growing market.
  • Team culture: Flat hierarchies, do-it-yourself culture, and a collegiate togetherness – from the office to the construction site.
  • Professional development: We support you in further education and professional development.
  • Attractive remuneration and 30 days of vacation.
