Personal Injury Lawyer (ideally 2 PQE)

As a Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through to settlement or trial. Your role will include conducting thorough legal research, preparing court documents, advising clients on their rights and obligations, and representing them in mediations, pre-trial conferences, and court hearings. You will collaborate closely with senior lawyers on complex cases and stay current with developments in personal injury law to contribute to the firm’s professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage personal injury files efficiently and effectively from start to finish
  • Provide clear, compassionate advice to clients regarding their claims
  • Prepare documentation for court proceedings and negotiate settlements
  • Represent clients in mediations and court hearings with confidence and professionalism
  • Work collaboratively within the team, supporting and learning from senior colleagues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and case law in personal injury
Candidate Requirements
  • Valid practising certificate with proven experience in personal injury law
  • Strong background in motor vehicle accident claims, public liability, and workers’ compensation matters
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant laws and precedents
  • Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills with a history of achieving positive client outcomes
  • Exceptional caseload management, organizational skills, and attention to deadlines
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships
  • Commitment to ethical legal practice and professional conduct
