Personal Assistant / Support Worker (Ref 007709)

We are looking for a kind, patient, and proactive PA to support Sadia, a non-verbal autistic child, in the evenings and during school holidays. Sadia is a bright, smiley young girl who enjoys running around, playing at soft play centres, visiting parks, and being gently encouraged in her daily routines.
Hours:
- Term Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6pm–8pm (4 hours per week)
- School Holidays: 8 hours per week (flexible – can be Thursday, Friday, or weekends, including daytime)
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage play with toys and books
- Support self-care routines (e.g., eating, dressing) through gentle instruction and demonstration
- Supervise and engage with Sadia at home alongside her mum and sister
- Take Sadia on short outings (parks, soft play, etc.) while ensuring her safety in public
- Support her in a calm, consistent, and encouraging manner
Requirements:
- Experience supporting autistic children or managing challenging behaviour is desirable
- Must be patient, attentive, and encouraging
- A driver with access to a car is preferred for occasional outings
- Must be comfortable working in a family home environment
