Personal Assistant / Care Assistant (Ref 007651)

We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Personal Assistant to support Joe, a young man with additional needs, in enjoying meaningful, engaging days out. Joe has a wide range of interests including history, steam trains, comedy, walking, museums, and National Trust properties. He enjoys exploring new places and building positive, trusting relationships. Role Details: Location: Based in Redhill, with trips to surrounding areas Hours: Every other Saturday to begin with (daytime), with the possibility of additional hours during school holidays or special events. The ideal candidate will be able to support Joe's interests and needs, as well as provide general assistance with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. This role requires a high level of patience, understanding, and empathy, as well as excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with additional needs or disabilities, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A full driving license is desirable but not essential.
