JOB DESCRIPTION

The resource, integrated within the technical area, will be responsible for managing and coordinating the authorization processes related to the development and construction of plants from renewable sources.

The figure will have an operational role in permitting and project development activities, handling the authorization and regulatory screening of areas and managing the documentation necessary for authorization procedures and monitoring relationships with involved entities and stakeholders.

The role will also collaborate with the technical team and external consultants in design and development activities, contributing to the definition of the correct authorization process, the management of requests for additional documentation, and the monitoring of the progress of procedures until the necessary permits for the construction of the plants are obtained.

Tasks and responsibilities of the position:

• Manage and monitor the authorization processes related to the development and construction of plants from renewable sources;
• Perform preliminary authorization and regulatory screening of the areas identified for project development;
• Analyze the main environmental, landscape, urban planning, territorial, and hydrogeological constraints affecting the project areas;
• Identify and verify the correct authorization procedure applicable to the project based on the type of plant, location, and characteristics of the intervention;
• Support the management of authorization procedures, including the preparation, submission, and verification of documentation required by the competent authorities, as well as the management of any requests for additional information;
• Monitor the progress of authorization applications, procedural timelines, deadlines, and compliance related to authorization processes;
• Perform territorial and cartographic analyses using GIS tools and technical software such as QGIS and AUTOCAD, as well as technical site inspections at the areas of interest, including using GPS tools;
• Consult and analyze cadastral documentation and territorial databases, including SISTER;
• Support the preparation and verification of technical and cartographic elaborates, reports, and administrative documentation necessary for authorization procedures;
• Coordinate the collection and verification of technical and administrative documentation, monitoring the evolution of sector regulations.

Required qualifications:

• Degree in Environmental, Civil, Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related technical disciplines;
• Applications from individuals with a Surveyor's Diploma and significant experience in permitting and the management of authorization processes will also be considered;
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in similar roles, preferably gained in structured companies, technical studios, or companies operating in the renewable energy sector;
• Knowledge of the authorization and administrative processes related to the construction of plants from renewable sources;
• Knowledge of urban planning, environmental, and landscape regulations;
• Knowledge of the main procedures related to the connection of plants to the electrical grid;
• Knowledge and ability to use QGIS, AUTOCAD, and SISTER;
• Knowledge and ability to use GPS tools for site inspection activities;
• Knowledge of the energy management system and the main activities of the GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici);
• Ability to perform territorial analyses and preliminary assessments of the legal-environmental feasibility of sites;
• Ability to prepare and manage technical and administrative documentation and reporting;
• Precision, organizational skills, and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and in a team;
• Good skills in collecting, organizing, and managing information;
• Willingness to conduct site inspections in the territory.
