Permitting Manager | Solar PV

VOLT Infrastructure develops and invests in renewable energy projects across Italy, from land identification and technical design to permitting, authorisations, and EPC contracting. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Permitting Manager to lead permitting and authorisation processes for our solar PV projects. You will manage regulatory approvals, coordinate with public authorities, and support the development of Italy’s clean energy future. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage federal, regional, and local permits and authorisations; Coordinate with public authorities, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant permitting process; Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners; Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations; Collaborate with the project development team to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; Provide expert advice on permitting and authorisation processes to project teams; Support the development of Italy’s clean energy future by promoting sustainable and responsible renewable energy projects. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; At least 5 years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance; Strong understanding of Italian environmental regulations and permitting processes; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in MS Office applications.
