Where will you work?
The reference locations are Pisa and Milan, but your work will have a national impact.
What will you do?
You will be responsible for the maintenance and technical assistance of PAI/PL equipment, intervening in the diagnosis and resolution of faults, restoring system functionalities, and carrying out the necessary technical checks to ensure their correct operation. You will also collaborate with operational personnel to ensure the continuity and safety of railway operations, in compliance with current procedures and regulations.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with a solid technical background and a great passion for the railway world. The ideal candidate has:
- Technical High School Diploma – Electronics and Electrical Engineering specialization;
- alternatively, a Computer Science Technician Diploma or equivalent technical qualification, provided it is accompanied by adequate experience in the electrical/electronic field;
- Preferable experience of at least 2-3 years in electrical, electronic, electromechanical, or industrial IT maintenance activities.
- knowledge of the principles of electrical engineering and electronics;
- ability to read electrical, electronic, and functional diagrams;
- ability to perform fault finding on electrical and electronic circuits;
- knowledge of power supply, command, control, and signaling systems;
- basic knowledge of IT, networks, communication systems, and digital diagnostics;
- ability to use measurement and diagnostic instruments;
- ability to interpret technical documentation and maintenance manuals;
- knowledge of maintenance and anomaly management procedures;
- ability to operate according to particularly rigorous technical and safety procedures.
On-call availability requirements
The resource will need to be available for an on-call service, guaranteeing the ability to:
- receive and manage fault notifications;
- perform an initial diagnosis, even remotely, when possible;
- reach the intervention site within the timeframes required by the service;
- operate in emergency conditions and with time constraints;
- ensure the safety of the equipment and restore functionality according to the procedures;
- liaise with railway operational/maintenance personnel and the service's technical referent.
Experience gained in the following areas is considered a plus:
- railway systems;
- railway signaling systems;
- level crossings;
- command and control systems;
- industrial electronic equipment;
- automation systems;
- electrical power supply and distribution systems;
- remote control and diagnostic systems.

Salary range
- Junior from 29-32K
- Middle from 33K to 37K;
- Senior from 38K.
The positioning within the range will be determined based on the technical skills and specific experience in the role that emerge during the selection process.
