Job Summary Under the direction of the Medical Director and/or designee, the Perinatal Ultrasound Technician performs diagnostic sonographic examinations and related clinical duties, as requested by a physician. Responsibilities * Prepares patient for sonographic examinations. * Operates ultrasound equipment and performs examinations according to established protocols. * Reviews patient charts for pertinent information. * Provides patient education. * Assists physicians with procedures. * Maintains records and logs. * Maintains ultrasound equipment and work areas. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education * High School Diploma/GED required. Experience * 2 years of experience in ultrasound required. Licenses and Certifications * ARDMS Registered in OB/GYN required.
