Performing Arts Afterschool Club Instructor
Job description
Good day, everyone!
We are looking for enthusiastic, patient, and creative Performing Arts Instructors to lead afterschool clubs for primary-aged children. Applicants can choose to teach one or multiple clubs depending on interest and availability. This is a paid role.
Available Clubs:
Drama/Musical Theatre Afterschool Club – THURSDAY, 3:30–4:30 PM, Brent (NW9), KS2, £40/hr
Musical Theatre & Drama Afterschool Club – MONDAY, 3:45–4:45 PM, Hackney (E8), Year 1–2, £35/hr
Ballet Afterschool Club – MONDAY, 3:30–4:30 PM, Putney (SW15), Rec–Year 3, £40/hr
Ballet & Stretching Afterschool Club – MONDAY & TUESDAY, 4:00–5:00 PM, Clapton (E5), Reception, £35/hr per class
Dance/Zumba Afterschool Club – TUESDAY, 3:30–4:30 PM, Peckham (SE21), KS2, £35/hr
Afrobeat/Urban Dance Afterschool Club – FRIDAY, 2:30–3:30 PM, Clapton (E5), KS2, £35/hr
Responsibilities:
Lead engaging performing arts sessions
Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork
Maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
Communicate effectively with school staff and Dance&Arts coordinators
Follow safeguarding and health & safety guidelines
Experience and Skills:
Experience teaching performing arts to primary-aged children
Enthusiastic, patient, and confident teaching style
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS: Must hold or be willing to obtain one (guidelines provided)
