People Operations Specialist (all genders)

You take over a central role in the further development of our People Experience along the entire Employee Lifecycle, keep the daily business running and think ahead: How can we simplify processes, automate and efficiently shape them using smart tools and AI?

We are looking for a:n People Operations Specialist (all genders) for our team in Hamburg or Berlin.

As part of our People Team, you support our operational HR processes and the further growth of JAKALA Germany for around 230 employees in Hamburg, Berlin and Vienna. You report directly to the HR Director DACH.

Aufgaben

• You are the first point of contact for employees and executives in all operational HR topics and ensure quick, solution-oriented support in daily business
• You accompany the entire Employee Lifecycle – from Onboarding to contract changes until Offboarding, certificates and attestations
• You ensure a correct preliminary payroll and coordinate cooperation with Finance as well as external partners (e.g. health insurance companies and insurances)
• You maintain our HRIS (Personio & Alveria) and support the optimization and automation of our HR processes
• You manage our benefit portfolio and are responsible for topics related to occupational safety and corporate health management
• You create HR reports and support data-based decisions in the HR team
• You work closely with Talent Acquisition, IT and Finance together and ensure smooth interface processes
• You actively bring yourself into HR projects and set improvements and process optimizations independently – including modern digital solutions

Qualifikation

• You have at least 3 years of experience in operational HR / People Operations and know the Employee Lifecycle from practice
• You work safely with HR systems, ideally with Personio, and have experience handling digital HR tools
• You think in solutions rather than tasks, develop processes actively further and set improvements independently
• You are structured, meticulous and have a strong affinity for data, processes and HR administration
• You communicate clearly, empathetically and on eye level with employees, executives and external partners
• You have a good sense of modern HR trends and drive the use of digital tools as well as automation actively forward
• You speak fluent German and English and work reliably in a dynamic, international environment
