People Operations Manager (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

Location: Munich, hybrid (2 days/week in office, rest remote) · Temporary until the end of February 2028 · 30-40 hours/week

We are looking for a People Operations Manager (m/w/d) to represent during parental leave, temporarily until the end of February 2028. The role reports directly to the VP People & Organization and has its focus on Germany.

You will be a central member of our People Operations Team and ensure operational excellence in the Employee Lifecycle together with the existing People Operations Manager. You will take over your own areas of responsibility, drive them forward independently, and actively contribute to the development of our processes.

  • You will be a reliable point of contact for our colleagues on operational personnel matters and ensure a professional Employee Experience.
  • You will be responsible for operational topics along the entire Employee Lifecycle, from onboarding to contract changes and offboarding, independently and with care.
  • You will prepare contracts, addenda, and comparable documents and ensure data quality in our HR system.
  • You will oversee compliance topics such as data protection, maternity leave, and similar areas in close coordination with experienced colleagues in the team and internal partners.
  • You will take on and lead projects with your own design scope within our P&O OKRs and drive the development of our processes through the use of technology, particularly AI.

What You Bring

  • A completed degree in business administration, psychology, personnel management, or a comparable field, or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in operational personnel work, ideally in a dynamic environment with hybrid or remote working.
  • Fundamental knowledge in all classical fields of operational personnel work, including onboarding, contract management, certificate issuance, preliminary payroll accounting, BEM, and offboarding, as well as German labor and social security law.
  • Basic knowledge in handling AI tools in the HR context.
  • Independent, structured working style and high accuracy. Discretion and reliability.
  • Fluent German skills and good English skills in writing and speaking.
