People Data & Insights - Data Analyst

About the role:

As our PDI Data Analyst, you’ll be our in-house subject matter expert on SQL and database technology when it comes to people related data. You’ll take ownership of measuring and maintaining data quality, ensuring accuracy and reliability, and partnering with our Digital & Data colleagues to embed strong governance around people data.

This role is about back-end data stewardship — setting the foundations, creating clean, accurate data views and partnering with our PDI Reporting Analyst, who will bring that data to life for stakeholders. Together, you’ll ensure our organisation can trust its people data and use it to drive smarter decisions.

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:

• Be the technical point of contact for the organisation on people data storage, access, and best practice usage as defined in our Data Dictionary.
• Work closely with Digital & Data colleagues to document data feeds and manage access requests.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy, flagging improvements and corrections to the PDI team where needed.
• Maintain and evolve our HRIS process documentation and Key Defined Field (KDF) library.
• Provide expert advice to colleagues on data quality, and work with the PD&I team to expand capability where KDFs don’t yet meet organisational needs.
• Identify opportunities to automate data maintenance and reduce repetitive workloads across teams.
