Ironworker Peon

The position consists of carrying out key tasks within construction sites, focused on reinforced concrete structures. Daily duties include cutting, bending, and assembling corrugated iron reinforcements, always following plans and technical specifications. Internal concrete structures are also prepared and assembled, ensuring the reinforcements are well placed and secured. Work is carried out with manual and electric tools, such as shears, benders, and tying tools, and measurements and tolerances are checked. It is essential to maintain order in the work area and comply with safety regulations, especially the 60-hour occupational risk prevention training. Travel to the construction site is required, so a personal vehicle is necessary. The working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The contract may be temporary or permanent, depending on the project. Previous experience of at least two years in similar tasks, the ability to work in a team, and good physical endurance are valued. No specific academic training is required, but the PRL accreditation and knowledge of handling the trade tools are. The salary is in accordance with the collective agreement for the construction sector, and includes social security and holidays according to the law. Furthermore, there is the possibility of continuous training and professional development at the construction site itself.
