Experienced Pentester - Red Team

Ballpoint is an offensive cybersecurity company specializing in penetration testing, security audits, red team exercises, and continuous training. We also innovate with Trapster, our honeypot solution designed to improve intrusion detection within companies.

We are a team of 7 enthusiasts, with a strong technical culture, and we collaborate with a diverse clientele, from the public sector to SMEs, including SOCs and MSSPs.

Remote work is regularly possible, but this position requires presence in Paris.

Your missions

You will work at the heart of the pentest team to carry out audits, evaluate vulnerabilities, and improve our clients' security posture, while gradually taking charge of structuring and growing the business.

Specifically:

• Conduct security audits and penetration tests (Web, Active Directory, Mobile, IoT…)

• Participate in Red Team exercises (EDR bypass, spear-phishing, infra, physical intrusion…)

• Develop and use custom pentest tools

• Participate in the development of training and awareness programs

• Contribute to the writing of technical articles

And, as you take on more responsibility:

• Structure and grow the pentest practice (methodology, tooling, deliverable quality)

• Mentor and train junior profiles (interns, future hires)

• Participate in the team's technical choices and the evolution of our offering

• Be a driving force in proposing the technical direction for Ballpoint

The scope adjusts according to your profile and ambitions: the more you want to take, the more there is to take.

Your skills

You already have solid pentest experience and:

• Proficiency with pentest tools and their limitations

• Regular use of AI tools (automation, scripting, agents…)

• Comfort with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell…)

• Good knowledge of common vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, buffer overflow, etc.) and network/system concepts

• Strong interest in offensive security and technological watch

• Autonomy, teamwork, ability to take initiative, and desire to grow a company

• Fluent English (report writing, international watch)

An aptitude or prior experience in management is a real plus.
