Penetration Tester

Job Overview: The Security Testing Engineer will be responsible for executing end-to-end security testing assignments, including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, secure code reviews, and configuration assessments across systems, networks, web, mobile, and cloud environments. The role demands a blend of strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and effective communication to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of security testing services to clients. Major Objectives of the Penetration Tester position include: • Conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on various systems, networks, web applications, mobile devices, and cloud environments. • Developing and executing custom-built scripts and tools for identifying vulnerabilities and exploiting weaknesses. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security testing requirements. • Providing detailed reports of findings and recommendations for remediation to clients. • Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies and tools. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or a related field. • Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and security technologies. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby. • Experience with security testing tools and frameworks, including Nmap, Nessus, Burp Suite, and Metasploit. • Familiarity with cloud-based services and infrastructure. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
