Penetration Tester Security Engineer

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the continuous evaluation and improvement of security by identifying vulnerabilities and collaborating with development and operations teams to implement protection measures. As a Penetration Tester Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Executing penetration tests on web applications, infrastructure, and internal/external networks.
• Identifying vulnerabilities and exploiting them in controlled environments.
• Preparing detailed reports with recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to implement security solutions.
• Participating in simulated attacks (Red Team) and security evaluations.
• Monitoring and updating knowledge about recent vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
• Participating in release processes and on-call activities associated with release processes;
• Participating in internal and external security audits;

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in penetration testing.
• Has solid knowledge about OWASP Top 10, networking, Windows/Linux systems.
• Has experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus.
• Has relevant certifications (OSCP, CEH, GPEN – represents an advantage).
• Has scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Has knowledge of cloud security.
• Has excellent communication skills;
• Can lead discussions about design, offer solutions to incidents that occur, and interact with team members and management;
• Can solve problems, identify relevant information in a defect report;
• Can communicate technical information, both in writing and verbally, in a way that is understood by all parties (development, design, management);
• Has a degree in computer science, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
