Capco France is looking for a PDLC/SDLC Expert – Python & GenAI to support major players in banking and financial services in optimizing and transforming their product and software development cycles.

Within our Technology & Engineering Practice, you will work at the intersection of Software Engineering, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence to design and deploy solutions that improve the quality, speed, and reliability of software development.

You will work alongside Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, and Product teams to analyze existing practices, identify improvement opportunities, and support the evolution of development methods.

You will play a key role in integrating GenAI and AI-enabled workflows into PDLC/SDLC cycles, from design to production, ensuring human oversight, security, traceability, and quality standards are maintained.

Your missions:

• Analyze and optimize Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) cycles to improve the quality, productivity, and reliability of development processes.

• Design and develop automation solutions and tools in Python, particularly for software development, testing, validation, and maintenance activities.

• Integrate GenAI capabilities and AI-enabled workflows into engineering practices, notably for development assistance, code generation and review, documentation, and test automation.

• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Architecture, and Product teams to industrialize solutions, strengthen CI/CD practices, and support their adoption.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of deployed solutions and ensure responsible AI use, with control mechanisms, human validation, traceability, and escalation adapted to regulated environments.

Your profile:

• Significant experience in Software Engineering, with proven expertise in Python and a good understanding of software development architectures and practices.

• Solid knowledge of PDLC/SDLC cycles, Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and software quality principles.

• Hands-on experience using GenAI in software development, particularly with programming assistants, LLMs, or engineering workflow automation tools.

• Ability to analyze complex processes, identify optimization levers, and design technical solutions tailored to team needs.

• A collaborative approach allowing for work with technical and business teams, combined with an understanding of security, governance, and Responsible AI challenges. You are comfortable working in French and English in international environments.

• Experience implementing AI-assisted Software Development solutions, particularly for code generation, automated testing, or improving DevSecOps practices.

• Experience in banking, capital markets, insurance, or other regulated financial environments.
