Payroll Team Lead

Job Description Are you strong in payroll and do you get energy from leading a team? What will you do? * You coordinate the monthly payroll processing and ensure correct and timely payroll. * You lead the payroll team and coach your colleagues. In busy times or during absence, you will pitch in yourself. * You check payroll slips, social security declarations, and withholding tax, among other things. * You monitor Belgian social legislation and ensure its correct application within Kunnig. * You create reports and analyses for HR and management and help transform figures into usable insights. * You are a point of contact for colleagues with questions about salary, payroll, and systems. * You work closely with HR and Finance and maintain contact with our social secretariat, insurers, auditors, and other external partners. * You look beyond monthly payroll: you see where processes can be improved and take initiative to simplify and optimize them. Who are you? * You have a bachelor's degree, for example in HR, accountancy, or a comparable field. * You have several years of experience with payroll or payroll administration and know Belgian social legislation well. * You have experience with payroll systems and collaborating with a social secretariat. * Excel holds few secrets for you. * You work accurately and structuredly and handle confidential information discreetly. * You communicate clearly, take initiative, and enjoy moving things forward. * You have experience with leading or coaching colleagues, or you are an experienced payroll professional ready to take that next step.
