Payroll Specialist

Payroll is more than administration to you – it is your field of expertise. At Teijin Aramid in Arnhem, you get the opportunity to fully utilize your expertise in an international and challenging environment. Together with one colleague, you will own the complete Dutch payroll for approximately 1,300 employees.

What will you do?

As a Payroll Specialist, you will have complete control over the payroll cycle. You do not work with fragmented tasks, but have real responsibility from input to control, from analysis to advice. The role offers interesting challenges through:

• International dynamics with expats, shadow payroll, and cross-border work
• Multiple source systems linked to AFAS Profit
• An in-house collective labor agreement that requires interpretation and craftsmanship
• Complex remuneration structures, including variable pay and executive schemes

You will ensure correct, timely, and compliant salary processing, interpret laws and regulations and collective labor agreement provisions, and identify risks and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will be a sparring partner for HR, Finance, and Compensation & Benefits, and maintain contact with external parties such as the Tax Authorities, SVB, UWV, and pension providers.

What we offer

Teijin Aramid offers an attractive package with a salary between € 4,300 and € 6,200 gross per month (CAO scale 9), depending on your experience and education. You will receive almost 10 weeks of holiday per year, of which six weeks can be flexibly scheduled. You will also receive 8.33% holiday pay, a favorable pension with a low employee contribution, and a € 1,500 gross development budget.

We offer flexible working hours and hybrid working, a € 4.01 per day home office allowance, and a € 0.23 per kilometer travel allowance. You will gain access to training and coaching programs for personal development.

Who are we looking for?

You are a professional who understands what lies behind the numbers. You have a Bachelor's (HBO) work and thinking level, PDL and VPS certification (required), and experience with end-to-end payroll. Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, social security, and labor law is essential, as are Excel skills. Experience with AFAS is a plus.

You are analytical, accurate, and have strong communication skills. You can handle pressure and deadlines well.
