Payroll Specialist

Job Purpose: To ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, adherence to statutory compliance, and proper record maintenance, contributing to smooth HR operations in a manufacturing setup. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Collect, verify, and process employee attendance and leave data. Prepare and execute monthly salary processing through payroll software. Validate salary structures, deductions (PF, ESI, TDS), incentives, and reimbursements. Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely deposition of statutory dues, including PF, ESI, and TDS. Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. HR Operations: Collaborate with HR team to ensure seamless integration of payroll processing with other HR functions. Provide support in resolving employee queries related to payroll. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations.
