Job description
SIGMAGEST – Human Resources & Payroll S.r.l., a leading consultancy company based in Milan, which primarily assists companies belonging to national and multinational groups, in the context of strengthening its HR & Payroll structure, is looking for a person to fill the role of:
PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Work Location: Milan
The Position
The selected person, within the HR & Payroll team, will independently manage a portfolio of clients and will be responsible for the main activities related to personnel administration and payroll processing.
In particular, they will be responsible for:
- managing compliance related to the establishment, transformation, and termination of employment relationships, in compliance with current legislation, applicable collective agreements, and company policies;
- processing and controlling payroll;
- managing and verifying monthly and annual contributions, social security, and tax obligations;
- verifying the correct application of contractual provisions and salary components;
- processing and verifying the monthly accounting of salaries and personnel costs;
- preparing and controlling post-payroll reporting;
- independently managing assigned clients and providing support in resolving main personnel administration issues.
Requirements
The search is aimed at individuals possessing the following requirements:
- high school diploma in accounting or another diploma in an economic-administrative field and/or a degree in economic, legal, or related disciplines;
- at least 3 years of experience in payroll processing and personnel administration, preferably gained in professional firms, consultancy companies, or organized corporate structures;
- autonomy in payroll processing and management of related obligations;
- good knowledge of labor, social security, and tax legislation and collective agreements;
- knowledge of the Zucchetti Paghe Infinity application;
- good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- precision, organizational skills, and autonomy in managing deadlines;
- aptitude for teamwork and good interpersonal skills in client management.
Employment and Economic Treatment
Applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL): CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi – Confcommercio.
The economic treatment will be determined based on the professional experience actually gained, the technical skills possessed, the level of autonomy in managing the payroll process, and client management capabilities.
The following salary ranges are foreseen:
Band A – Annual Gross Salary (RAL) € 26,000 / € 30,000
Profile with experience already gained in the payroll area, with technical skills adequate for the position and operational autonomy in the consolidation phase.
Band B – Annual Gross Salary (RAL) € 31,000 / € 35,000
Profile with good autonomy in managing the entire payroll cycle and related obligations, ability to manage assigned clients, and consolidated technical-professional competence.
Band C – Annual Gross Salary (RAL) € 36,000 / € 40,000
Senior profile with high technical and managerial autonomy, ability to handle complex cases, independently manage payroll obligations, and conduct consultancy relationships with structured clients.
Inclusion in the respective band and determination of the Annual Gross Salary (RAL) within it will be based on objective criteria consistent with the position, particularly considering:
- professional experience gained in payroll processing and personnel administration;
- level of autonomy in managing the entire payroll process;
- competence in labor, social security, tax, and contractual legislation;
- ability to independently manage monthly and annual obligations;
- competence in using Zucchetti Paghe Infinity;
- analytical and management skills for complex cases;
- autonomy and interpersonal skills in client management;
- experience in managing structured companies and/or those belonging to national and multinational groups.

Selection Process
