Patrimonium Inspector

As a patrimonium inspector in building engineering, you'll be going out to inspect the heritage of De Vlaamse Waterway along and via the waterways. Think about bridges, dikes, locks, stairs, and pontoons. This sometimes happens from on board the boat, so what's best is to leave your fear of water at the shore. You combine the terrain work (approximately 80%) with inspections from the water. Your tasks will include: • Conducting inspections of the heritage along the waterways; • Identifying potential risks and damage to the heritage; • Developing a plan for maintenance and restoration; • Collaborating with other departments within De Vlaamse Waterway; • Maintaining records and reports on your findings.
