Patient Intake Specialist (ABA Therapy) - EST Hours (Remote)

I STA Personnel Solutions South Africa - we are a global BPO company, partnering with a USA-based client in the Healthcare sector. We are seeking a Patient intake Specialist to join our remote support team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This dual-role position focuses on onboarding new and existing patients into ABA services, while also managing insurance authorizations and performing quality assurance checks. The Patient Intake Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks: • Onboarding new and existing patients into ABA services, including scheduling initial assessments and follow-up appointments. • Managing insurance authorizations, including verifying patient information, submitting claims, and resolving any issues that may arise. • Performing quality assurance checks to ensure that all patient information is accurate and up-to-date. • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. • Collaborating with the ABA therapy team to ensure seamless patient onboarding and ongoing support. • Participating in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, address any concerns, and share best practices. • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards. • Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all company policies and procedures. • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
