Patent Associate

The firm's practice covers all aspects of IP laws, including Patents & Designs; Trademarks & Copyrights; Emerging IP Rights; Commercialization and Transactional IP. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a ‘Patent Associate’ located in Gurugram. We are looking for an individual with a strong academic background in Law or related fields, preferably with a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct research on patentability and validity of patents; • Assist in the preparation of patent applications and responses to office actions; • Review and analyze patent documents for infringement and invalidity purposes; • Provide support to attorneys in preparing and prosecuting patent applications; • Maintain accurate records and files related to patent matters; • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals. Requirements: • Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law or a related field; • Strong academic background in Law or related fields; • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; • Ability to work effectively as part of a team; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Familiarity with patent laws and regulations; • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
