Pastry Chef (Restaurant & Estate) - Boland

High end property in the Boland (Worcester area) with onsite restaurants and a large wedding, conference & events footprint is currently recruiting for a strong Pastry Chef de Partie or Junior Pastry Sous Chef. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate , that will excel in high-pressure environment, be capable of handling large numbers of guests , and demonstrate expertise in baking pastries and artisanal breads . Responsibilities: Oversee the daily production of pastries and artisanal breads ; Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained at all times; Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of pastry recipes and presentation styles; Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak periods; Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations; Participate in menu planning and development; Assist in training junior staff members; Provide exceptional customer service; Demonstrate expertise in baking pastries and artisanal breads ; Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of pastry recipes and presentation styles. Requirements: 3-5 years' experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Junior Pastry Sous Chef; Strong knowledge of pastry production, including baking, decorating, and presentation techniques; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and stand for long periods; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
