Job description
Japanese Fine Dining Restaurant based close to Stellenbosch is looking for a professional Pastry Chef De Partie to amaze patrons with excellent cooking according to the chef’s recipes and specifications. The ultimate goal is to expand clientele and reputation to ensure long-term success. Duties: Maintain health, hygiene and safety requirements Control quality, quantity and cost price of all dishes prepared in area of responsibility Ensure that the Sous chef is informed on ingredient orders, maintenance of inventory levels and ordering of supplies. Assist with menu planning, food presentation and plating. Develop and maintain a positive work environment by fostering open communication, teamwork and respect among colleagues. Maintain confidentiality regarding recipes, menus and other sensitive information. Perform any other duties as required.
