Job Description
We are seeking a detail-driven Passive Fire Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for fire protection projects. In this role, you will:
- Analyse drawings, tender documents, and specifications to understand project scope
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), pricing schedules, and full quotations
- Conduct site surveys to ensure estimates are accurate and compliant
- Source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Capture and price contract variations and track these through the QA system
- Ensure all bids meet fire safety regulations and client requirements
- Prepare and review QA documents using specific programmes
- Collaborate with clients, sales, operations, and project management teams
- Provide value-engineering solutions to optimise costs without compromising safety
