What will you do?

As Party Manager Catering, you are the first point of contact for clients who want to organize a party or event, such as weddings, jubilees, birthdays, and business gatherings. You inventory their wishes, advise on the best possible implementation, and prepare a tailored bid. From that moment on, you monitor the entire process: you provide a detailed briefing for your colleagues, keep track of the planning, and are present at large parties to ensure everything runs smoothly. Afterward, you take care of the after-sales and ensure correct invoicing.

This function is a great combination of commerce, organization, and hospitality. You have a lot of customer contact and work together with various teams to make each event a success.

Your tasks & responsibilities

• Guide clients from the initial request to the final invoice

• Conduct sales conversations on location

• Prepare and follow up on tailored bids

• Advise on the best possible implementation of parties and events

• Coordinate and participate in large parties

• Keep track of the year's agenda and monitor the planning

• Conduct after-sales conversations and follow up on bids

You love dynamics, effortlessly switch between different tasks, and have a real hands-on mentality. You get energy from customer contact and know how to organize an event from A to Z. Working together with colleagues and clients at all levels comes naturally to you, but you can also work independently. You're not bothered by occasionally being present in the evenings or on weekends at large parties—that's just part of the hospitality. Additionally, you have:

• Experience in guiding clients from request to invoicing

• Strong commercial and communicative skills for sales conversations on location

• Experience in preparing and following up on tailored bids

• A keen eye for detail and a structured work attitude when processing and monitoring agreements

• The flexibility to participate in large parties and ensure everything runs smoothly

• Availability of at least 32-40 hours per week

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
