Parts Preparation & Refurbishment Engineer

Job Description As a Parts preparation & Refurbishment engineer you are the person which our service organization can rely on to prepare parts and produce assemblies, used by our service engineers worldwide to maintain and repair our sorters in our office in Leuven. Together with the quality team you are also the person who checks, repairs and follows up on returned parts, this as well internally as towards our suppliers. And at the same time, you work together with the R&D department to improve processes and develop new solutions for our products. Your main responsibilities will be: • To prepare and refurbish parts according to our quality standards, • To produce assemblies used by our service engineers worldwide, • To check, repair and follow up on returned parts internally as well as towards our suppliers, • To work together with the R&D department to improve processes and develop new solutions for our products. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Familiarity with MS Office and ability to learn new software.
