Part-time Venues Server

As a Venues Server with a focus on the Velvet Glove Lounge at Fairmont Winnipeg, you will ensure all guests receive exceptional service by consistently offering professional, friendly, warm and engaging service.

What you will be doing:

• Set up food & beverage service and clear tables in the VG Lounge.
• Ensures all guests have a memorable experience in dining.
• Have complete knowledge of the menu and beverage lists in the outlets and all other special promotions taking place in the hotel. Knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• To be able to answer any guest questions about menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Responsible for up-selling.
• Ensure all bills are handled in an accurate manner.
• Adhere to health & safety policy and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Adhere to the hotel’s environmental policies and procedures.
