Key Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards, and ensure patient safety. Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and recommendations to customers regarding their health and medication. Review and interpret prescriptions, verifying dosages, and potential drug interactions. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications. Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants, providing guidance and training as needed. Participate in health promotion activities and community outreach programs. Adhere to all relevant pharmacy regulations and policies. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification. Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Proven experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a community pharmacy setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Sound knowledge of medications, dosages, and potential side effects. Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
