Part-Time Class 1 (CE) Driver

Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our team.

Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).

Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).

Must be comfortable with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.

Start times: Typically between 04:00 and 07:00 AM.

Part-time position – must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.

Shift length: Between 8 and 12 hours (minimum 10 hours guaranteed).

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour.

Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Strong understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Flexible and able to adapt to different delivery routes and customers.
