About the Role
We’re seeking experienced Parks and Gardens Workers to join local council teams across Sydney. These are casual roles with full-time hours available through to April 2026, and ongoing or permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
Ideal for people with a background in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance, you’ll be part of a team responsible for keeping Sydney’s parks and public spaces looking their best.

Key Responsibilities
- Grounds maintenance, including mowing, brush-cutting, planting, pruning, and mulching
- General upkeep of parks, gardens, and streetscapes
- Operating small plant and equipment safely
- Working outdoors as part of a supportive team
- Experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture (Australia or overseas)
- White Card (mandatory)
- Driver’s Licence (MR or HR highly regarded)
- Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Team player with a positive attitude
- $37–$40 per hour + superannuation
- Up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Ongoing work through April 2026 with potential to go permanent
