This vital role provides emergency medical care to guests and crew, supports shipboard health and safety protocols, and ensures the effective operation of the onboard medical facility. As a Paramedic onboard a cruise ship, you will be part of a dedicated team providing medical care to passengers and crew, and contributing to the overall success of the ship's operations. Key Responsibilities: • Provide emergency medical care to guests and crew, including assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients. • Support shipboard health and safety protocols, including infection control, patient confidentiality, and compliance with international health regulations. • Ensure the effective operation of the onboard medical facility, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and supply chain logistics. • Collaborate with other medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other paramedics, to provide comprehensive medical care. • Participate in regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest medical techniques and protocols. • Work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, with a diverse range of medical cases and scenarios. • Contribute to the overall success of the ship's operations, including passenger and crew safety, and compliance with international health regulations. Requirements: • Current Paramedic certification or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paramedic. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. • Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed. • Ability to work in a confined space with limited resources. • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with multiple priorities. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient confidentiality. • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with diverse patient populations.
