Position: Paramedic Location: International placement onboard a cruise ship About the Opportunity: Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting Paramedics on behalf of a leading cruise line partner. This vital role provides emergency medical care to guests and crew, supports shipboard health and safety protocols, and ensures the effective operation of the onboard medical facility. This is an excellent opportunity for highly skilled first responders to work in a fast-paced, multicultural maritime environment, with a diverse range of medical cases and scenarios. As a Paramedic onboard a cruise ship, you will be part of a dedicated team providing medical care to passengers and crew, and contributing to the overall success of the ship's operations. Key Responsibilities: • Provide emergency medical care to guests and crew, including assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients. • Support shipboard health and safety protocols, including infection control, patient confidentiality, and compliance with international health regulations. • Ensure the effective operation of the onboard medical facility, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and supply chain logistics. • Collaborate with other medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other paramedics, to provide comprehensive medical care. • Participate in regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest medical techniques and protocols. • Work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, with a diverse range of medical cases and scenarios. • Contribute to the overall success of the ship's operations, including passenger and crew safety, and compliance with international health regulations. Requirements: • Current Paramedic certification or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paramedic. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. • Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed. • Ability to work in a confined space with limited resources. • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with multiple priorities. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient confidentiality. • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with diverse patient populations.
