Job Description: Paramedic (Full Time/Part Time) Palm Springs, CA POSITION SUMMARY: The mission and purpose this position is to compassionately deliver high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced patient care in a professional, caring and cost-effective manner. Paramedic Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assess each call situation to determine best course of action and appropriate protocol. Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction units. Provide emergency medical treatment and transportation to patients with various injuries or illnesses. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records and reports of patient care. Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective patient care plans. Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's values and mission. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and other stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.
