Paralegal - Contract Reviewer
Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Paralegal - Contract Reviewer to strengthen our global team for risk management in Brussels, Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our European operational activities in the field of contract management and risk assessment.
- Conduct thorough contract reviews, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policy
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters to operational teams and, if necessary, maintain contact with clients and their legal representatives
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve risk awareness, compliance, and capacities
- Guide operational teams in the risk management process to resolve problems and expedite contract closure
- Contribute to the improvement of risk management instruments, systems, and processes
- Maintain contact with insurance brokers to confirm coverage and answer questions
- Assist in maintaining SOX controls where applicable
- Stay up-to-date on changes in contract legislation and sector best practices
- Support the development of risk management strategies and policy lines
