Senior Paralegal in Transactional Law

Baro RH is looking for a senior paralegal specializing in transactional law for a renowned law firm located in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the field of business law, including mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance. As a senior paralegal, you will work closely with lawyers to support complex transactions and ensure that all legal documents comply with current standards. • Assist lawyers in the preparation and review of legal documents related to commercial transactions.
• Draft contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries to inform the team on regulatory issues.
• Coordinate communications with clients and external parties regarding transactions.
• Track deadlines and manage files in an organized manner.
• Train and mentor less experienced paralegals within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent diploma and experience in paralegal work.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transactional law or a related field.
• Strong writing and legal document review skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written.
