Pan-African School Transformation Leader

An international education organization is seeking a Chief School Officer to drive the transformation of academic excellence across schools in Africa. This leadership role involves overseeing operational processes, empowering school leaders, and embodying the organization’s values to enhance the educational experience. Ideal candidates will have experience in multi-site management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French. This position is responsible for leading a team of school transformation officers who will work closely with schools to implement new programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to travel frequently throughout Africa to support the implementation of these programs. In addition, the Chief School Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve student outcomes, including setting goals and targets, monitoring progress, and making data-driven decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of education systems in Africa and the ability to build relationships with school leaders and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an international development context and a deep commitment to improving educational opportunities for students across Africa.
