Pallet Stock Manager

Our client, a reputable Fruit Packhouse specializing in citrus, stone fruit, and kiwifruit, located between Wellington and Malmesbury, is seeking a highly efficient, responsible, and detail-oriented Pallet Stock Manager to oversee and control all pallet stock movements within the Packhouse.

This position will report to the Packhouse Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).

• Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management (advantageous).

• 24 years experience in pallet management, stock control, or packhouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and verification of pallet ID and intakes.
• Responsible for intake personnel managing daily intakes of pallets on the system.
• Managing all pallets (local and export) and communicating the stock to the exporter.
• Manage and ensure that all pallets are weighed daily and put on system.
• Manage and ensure that all orders are packed and order status communicated to line managers.
• Communicate with PPECB regarding inspection dates / times.
• Prepare all documentation and send to Logistics.
• Ensure that Logistics receives all consignment notes and back-to-grower instruction documentation and that it is correct.
• Communicate all rejected pallets to exporters and manage rework and prepare documentation.
• Daily Production Run Report send to head office.
• Finalizing Production Runs for invoicing.
• Communicate with Cold store on completed and approved pallets to be moved to force cooling / holding.
• Maintain a food safety culture
