Are you an experienced and reliable painter looking to join a professional and growing construction company? Brar Construction Pty Ltd, based in Maddingley, Victoria, is hiring a Full-Time Painter to help deliver our expanding range of residential and commercial projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare work areas using ladders, scaffolding, trestles, and protective drop sheets.
2. Strip old paint, wallpaper, or coatings, repair surfaces, fill cracks, and sand for a smooth finish.
3. Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, and varnishes to achieve the right look.
4. Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment on a variety of surfaces.
5. Hang wallpaper neatly, matching patterns and trimming edges precisely.
6. Carry out minor repair tasks, such as fixing or replacing frames and glass.
7. Repair or lay tiles on walls or floors as needed in restoration projects.
8. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and keep a safe, tidy workspace.
9. Follow all OH&S procedures, including safe use of PPE and materials.
10. Provide advice to clients on paint types, finishes, and aftercare when required.

What We’re Looking For

1. Proven painting experience across residential and commercial projects.
2. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality outcomes.
3. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
4. Good communication and time management skills.
5. Solid knowledge of workplace safety standards and painting tools.
6. Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid visa that allows full-time work in Australia.
