Responsibilities

Budget Ownership on Meta & Co.

You will be responsible for our Paid Social budget in DACH – seven figures annually – on Meta, TikTok, and other platforms. Account structure, campaign setup, bidding, scaling, kill decisions: Your hand on the dial, your numbers at the end of the month.

Creative is Your Most Important Lever

You test 10-20 creative batches per week with our Creative Strategists – and you are not just the buyer who uploads. You provide the insights from which the next winner emerges: Which hook holds, which angle scales, where fatigue sets in, and what the data says about the next test.

Analysis That Supports Decisions

You don't just optimize by Platform ROAS alone. You think in MER, nCAC, contribution margin, and incrementality, build clean reporting, and separate signal from noise – daily at the campaign level, weekly at the business level.

Building New Markets

DACH is your core market, but not your limit. You will build the account structures for our international expansion (Italy, UK), transfer our German playbook – and know where it doesn't work and needs to be rethought.

End-to-End Testing Culture

Offer tests, landing page and PDP variants, audience and placement experiments, creative formats: You formulate hypotheses, prioritize by impact, and document learnings so that the entire team benefits.

Qualifications

Must-haves

• You have demonstrably managed and scaled at least €500,000 in Paid Social budget yourself – not just supported
• Several years of experience in E-commerce/D2C (B2C), in-house or in an agency with a clear e-commerce focus
• You operate the Meta Ads Manager blindly; experience with TikTok Ads is a strong plus
• Data-driven at its core: MER, nCAC, CAC Payback, AOV, LTV, and Hook/Hold Rates are your vocabulary – including clean handling of attribution and tracking gaps
• Genuine creative understanding: You recognize why an ad works and translate that into briefings and test plans rather than gut feeling
• Fluent German (native or C2) for the DACH market and good English for the team
• You live in Hamburg or the surrounding area and enjoy working on-site with us in the office
• Hands-on mentality: You want to build accounts, not moderate meetings – and you want to learn from people who do exactly that every day

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with health, nutrition, or supplement brands
• Understanding of retail halo effects (dm, Rossmann, Müller) and their impact on paid performance
• Experience with Google Ads/YouTube as a second channel
• Tool skills: GA4, Triple Whale/Northbeam, Shopify, Meta CAPI/Server-Side Tracking
• Advanced Sheets/SQL skills for your own analyses
• Experience in launching new markets
