Paid Internship Excellent knowledge of English for shipments to Romania and French for shipments to North Africa. Good mastery of Excel Assumption Direct logistics INTERNSHIP PAID (English/French) Manpower, for a client company operating in the logistics sector, is looking for an intern to be inserted into the operational/logistics area. Main tasks ? Shipments to Eastern Europe (Romania): - Management of the first contact with the customer: receipt of the shipment request via email. - Collection of necessary information: if data is missing, contact the customer to obtain the fundamental details of the shipment, including: - Pickup and delivery address - Quantity and type of goods - Weight and volume of the cargo - Entry of data into the management system: all collected information must be correctly recorded in the system to allow coordination with colleagues in operational departments (pickup/delivery). - Monitoring of the shipment: follow the entire logistics process, from pickup to delivery, maintaining contact with the driver. - Management of documentation: sending and receiving transportation documents (CMR and bill) via email. Additional tasks ? Shipments to North Africa (Tunisia and Morocco): In addition to the above activities, shipments to North Africa also involve: - Coordination with customs operators: interface with customs operators at major logistics hubs (e.g. Quadrant Europe, Port of Genoa, Port of Livorno) for the management of customs formalities. - Support in preparing documentary customs: ensure that all required documentation for export is correctly completed and transmitted to involved parties. FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, fundamental for managing and processing logistics data - Good knowledge of English, required for managing shipments to Eastern Europe (Romania) - Good knowledge of French, necessary for direct shipments to North Africa (Tunisia and Morocco) SCHEDULE: full-time, 8 hours Monday/Friday.
