Job description
Packaging Engineer
We are looking for a creative and talented Packaging Engineer to join our team. If you are passionate about innovation and possess an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail, this position might be the right fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage packaging development projects from concept through serial production, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and coordinate packaging concepts, specifications, and documentation for OE (Original Equipment) and OES (Original Equipment Services) products.
- Lead packaging optimization and continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and sustainability-focused projects.
- Coordinate engineering changes (ECM), packaging modifications, and cross-functional project activities.
- Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver packaging solutions on time and within quality standards.
- Create and maintained material master data, bills of materials, and packaging-related records in SAP.
- Support quality management processes, conducted documentation reviews, and contributed to achieving zero-defect and continuous improvement objectives.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Technical education (Engineering or related field)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP and master data/documentation management
- Knowledge of CorelDRAW for packaging and print-related designs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
- Good command of English language (B1-B2)
