Job description

The general mechanics worker is a rank-and-file soldier responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment on an air base. He works within a technical or logistics unit, under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers. He intervenes on a wide range of equipment: airport vehicles, aircraft arrestor systems, generator sets, and associated mechanical equipment. His objective: to guarantee the availability, reliability, and safety of the technical means essential for air operations. Equal salary between men and women for equivalent positions and hierarchical levels. , 45 days of leave per year. , Preferential rates with SNCF, up to -75% for you and -50% for your family. , Free accommodation on base for new recruits or housing assistance to live off-base.
