OTC Accountant (m/k) - role in new SSC 2026

Job description

We are looking for an OTC Accountant (m/f) for our client, a global chemical industry group building its SSC. The project is at an early stage of development - joining the team, you will have a real impact on shaping structures from scratch and creating, testing, and participating in international projects.

Location: Poznań

Responsibilities:

  • Daily OTC operations: performing accounting tasks, bookkeeping, and reconciling bank statements, making returns and write-offs, performing credit management tasks, settling accounts with clients, responding to internal and external inquiries, and reporting receivables,
  • E nsuring that daily operations are conducted in accordance with the Group's financial policy and agreed-upon SLA/KPI,
  • Active participation in process transformation, continuous improvement, standardization, and automation,
  • First point of contact and support for all OTC-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders,
  • Ppreparing and maintaining SOP (standard operating procedures) documentation,
  • Supporting annual audit and internal/external control processes,
  • Participation in projects and standardization initiatives across departments,
  • Able to identify potential improvements in processes.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of accounting regulations and tax laws,
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in OTC accounting,
  • Prior experience working in a BPO/SSC environment,
  • Excellent English language skills min. B2, additional languages will be an asset, especially German,
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail,
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field,
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills,
  • Good knowledge of SAP,
  • Excellent MS Office package skills.
